Maria Seiren

Maria Seiren is a Tokyo-born opera singer, skilled in both soprano and tenor. She is also a model by profession.

Maria Seiren made her debut in December 2015 at Suntory Hall (Blue Rose.) She garnered attention from various fields when she portraying dual roles in the world premiere of the opera "Kanashimi no Shirēna - Kindan no Koi - " (Tristezza di Sirena) in 2017 and the world premiere of the opera "Kami no Mizuumi" in 2019.

Maria Seiren mastered the art of both soprano and tenor voices, delivering a groundbreaking dual-voice transition. She gained recognition as an enigmatic singing spirit transcending gender boundaries.

Under the tutelage of the esteemed Noh performer Akio Awatani of the Kita School, Maria Seiren engaged in collaborative performances combining Noh and opera since 2020.

In 2023, Maria Seiren achieved the title of Japan's Got Talent's first champion. She participated in solo concerts and appeared in various media such as television, radio, commercials, and corporate events. She is currently serving as the director of the Mondo parallelo Opera Company.

Mondo parallelo Opera Company

Mondo Parallelo Opera Company was established by Maria Seiren on June 2018. 

Championing the ideals of "love and peace," "international cultural exchange," and "gender equality," they create original songs in Italian, incorporating elements of Japanese Noh theater in their productions. They continue to challenge and seek a new operatic style in Japan through three main activities: original opera performances, gala concerts, and collaborative performances with Noh theaters.

- Due to technical difficulties, there may be situations where the visual and/or the audio is unstable. The live stream may be disrupted during the performance for these reasons.

- Regardless of whether for commercial or private use, any kinds of recording, reproductions, and/or any acts that violate copyrights of the live stream are prohibited. Those unauthorized use of the streaming may result in legal liability. Taking screenshots of the live stream and uploading those "still images" on various social media and web services are permitted.

- If we find prohibited, illegal, or disruptive behavior, the participant will be removed from the live stream.

- If we find a participant violating our policies, we will report it to the authorities for further investigation.
