To celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the Nissay Theatre, "Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit," a fantasy novel masterpiece by the acclaimed author Nahoko Uehashi, get adapted into a stage play for the first time.

[Synopsis]

In a world where the realms of humans and spirits intersect, a skilled spear-wielding bodyguard named Balsa unexpectedly finds herself tasked with protecting a young prince named Chagum, who carries the egg of a spirit that brings blessings.

If the egg fails to hatch, the country will suffer a devastating drought. With helps from the great shaman Torogai and his disciple, her childhood friend Tanda, Balsa bravely faces danger without hesitation. She fights against malevolent creatures and assassins sent by the emperor, all in order to protect Chagum and the egg. Will Chagum safely hatch the egg and save his country from the drought?
